This song started to come together when Isaac Wheadon sent me a message one day. He knew this great singer named Georgia Costolo, who was normally very accustomed to singing on acoustic music. But Isaac had the ear to recognize that Georgia's voice would fit perfectly on deep house!

So he started a house'y track using one of her vocals, and eventually he reached out to see if I wanted to add in any parts and help finish it. I'm glad he brought me in and let me throw my sound into it!

Teamed up with Christian Singleton to bring this melodic, deep, organic house remix of her song "know me" - I love how it turned out, so peaceful and mellow!

Wanted to retain the vibe of the original but make it without un-clearable samples, haha

Teamed up with Drew Ava and the fellas to make this fun collab. Really enjoyed throwing in those little ear candy sounds to make things feel interesting and cinematic...the lightning strike in Kurtis' verse when he talks about God being the shelter in the storm, that's a favorite moment in the song for me! Hope y'all enjoy this one.

FUN FACT: Of the 3 guys in this picture, every single one became a Christian a few years after this photo was taken. I'm the short guy in the middle, haha. I think I was 17-18 when this was taken.

The past is a useful place to consider, but a terrible place to live. Nostalgia tells us the lie that things were better back in the "good old days" ..nostalgia can leave us feeling discontent with the present and unexcited about the future. Don't let nostalgia lie to you. Don't live in the past. Keep moving on.
