This song is about crying out to God when your soul feels dry...when life is hard and God seems far away. It's about remembering that, even in those moments, God hears you when you come to him in prayer with a humble and contrite spirit. "The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise." - Psalms 51:17

Lyrics-

VERSE 1:

Could You cause me to wonder again? (Cause me to wonder again) Could You draw me in?(Draw me in)

'Cause I feel like I've drifted so far (Feels like I've drifted so far)

Take me back to the place where You are (Won't You take me back)

PRE-CHORUS:

I just need to feel You near me Feels like I'm disappearing But I know You hear me Lord Yes I know You hear me

CHORUS:

You've come to my rescue before

So won't You please save me once more I know I can always be sure

I know that You hear me oh Lord

You've come to my rescue before So won't you please save me

Oh, I know, I know I can always be sure I know that You hear me oh Lord

VERSE 2:

I'm giving You all of my sin (Giving You all of my sin)

I'm letting You cleanse me within (Make me clean from within)

I'm giving You my wicked heart (Giving You my wicked heart)

Take me back to the place where You are (Won't You take me back)

CHORUS:

You've come to my rescue before

So won't You please save me once more I know I can always be sure

I know that You hear me oh Lord

You've come to my rescue before

So won't You please save me once more I know I can always be sure

I know that You hear me oh Lord

Lyrics:

Intro-

Good God, it's holding me down,

Cuz in the midst of my trials

I got a smile on my face,

Cuz God is in His place,

And I'm not trippin, no way

Verse-

I know that life moves so fast,

So my eyes are fixed on you God

I know these trials won't last,

My life is hid with you God

Gotta let go, no you gotta let go (x3)

Gotta let go, and let God take control

Hook-

You're holding me down down down down (x4)

Verse 2-

I know this time I spend here

Is only temporary

So I will trust in You God,

Though down these roads are scary

Live life, love God, think twice,

Don't go on your own understanding

Cuz God is chillin' in the sky,

Behold the beauty of our king

Gotta let go, no you gotta let go (x3)

Gotta let go, and let God take control

Hook-

You're holding me down down down down (x4)

Outro-

Haha, all glory to the risen King

Montell Fish, Chris Howland

Let me see you just clap, just clap, just clap, haha

Oh man, God is so good

Just another grimey AUDICID release. Nothing to see here. Carry on.

I decided to make the vocals for "Show Me" available. Have fun making remixes, mash-ups, and whatever!
