Salmon wrapped in eggplant has nothing to do with today's episode...or DOES it?
You'll have to listen to find out!
Before you click that "play" button, let me ask you a question.
Do you have important decisions to make in your life? Do you wonder whether or not that God is telling you to make that decision? Well, how are you going to find out unless you get your rear in gear?
Then again, if it ISN'T God's will, maybe you should keep your rear in "park" or "neutral." Let Chris, Kyle, Ethan, & Kurt try their best to give you a little advice.
WARNING! This Episode of the Chris Kyle Podcast may or may not contain explicit content!
However, it DEFINITELY contains more of the same sense and nonsense that you've come to expect from this lovable bunch of unlovables.
In today's Episode, Chris Kyle & Ethan (and Kurt) further explore the meaning of the "spirit." Is "spirit" only one thing, or is it a combination of things? Join the trigonometric quartet for their second principal of "What is Spirit:" MORE THAN THE SUM OF ITS PARTS
(Disclaimer: this episode does NOT contain explicit content. Sorry, we Christians...)
You can't be a Christian unless you are indeed "Born Again" of the Spirit of God. Simple enough, isn't it?
OR IS IT!
To be a Christian, you must be spiritual in several ways:
1) You must be BORN of the Spirit of God.
2) You must be LED by the Spirit of God.
3) You must bear SPIRITUAL fruit FOR God.
Wouldn't it be valuable to you as a Christian to know what the word "Spirit" means? Of course it would. So click PLAY!
The much-anticipated Season 02 of the ChrisKyle (and Ethan) podcast has finally come to fruition!
In this season, we explore some of the WEIRD STUFF Jesus Said. Did you know, there were a lot of people who thought Jesus was crazy and demon-possessed? Why? Well, it didn't help that Jesus said a bunch of weird stuff that left people scratching their heads.
We start this season off with a weird thing Jesus said; He said that the wind blows wherever it wants and you don't know where its coming or where its going! *head-scratching engaged*
Making a List! Checking it Twice!! These principles given by Jesus are keys to unlocking His great spiritual favor for your life and for His kingdom. When the KINGDOM is blessed, YOU are blessed. When YOU are blessed, the KINGDOM is blessed.
Jesus made a LIST of things He specifically said would give us a "reward" if we did them correctly. We've been talking about it for many episodes, but in this episode we ACTUALLY took the time to quote the scriptures corresponding to each item on "The List."
Since it is Christmas Time, we decided to not only MAKE the list, but to check it twice. Great examples of how to execute The List of rewarded faith works. Jesus gave us
We are joined by Special Guest Ethan Bateman. In this episode, we present the God's Economy principles with Ethan to see if he believes they hold water. We also discuss examples of the manifestations of God's rewards in this life.
The widow who gave two copper pennies added a HUGE spiritual fortune into the offering that day at the temple. How did her gift bless the temple? How did it subsequently bless the temple? How much did the world benefit from her story since it was recorded?
The answer to any of this questions should convince you to focus on producing spiritual fruit in God's Economy...
We MUST bear fruit. It is not optional. What is bearing fruit? It is a form of spiritual capitalism. We must take individual responsibility to produce spiritual reward in the name of Jesus. This means praying, fasting, giving, opposing wickedness, declaring the name of Jesus and other activities.
Your "treasure" is the place you store your excess. It is where you put your extra little bits away toward the hope of your future. Your "treasure" is also the hope of your security in case of emergencies.
How do you build up heavenly treasure instead of fleshly treasure? I'll give you three guesses, but if you've been listening to the rest of the episodes, you already know...
Let me ask you a question.
Kyle confessed to me that he's been wondering the same then you've probably been wondering, "Chris, are you saying we are saved by works?!"
It is a critical question and here's the short answer; "We are saved by grace and rewarded by Faith Works. We are neither rewarded nor saved by the Works of the Law."
