Johnny Bobbitt, a homeless man, is suing a Burlington County couple for the $400,000 they raised through a GoFundMe campaign on Bobbitt’s behalf. Bobbitt and his lawyers claim Mark D’Amico and Kate McClure have used the donated money “as their personal piggy bank.” The fundraising campaign was initially created by D’Amico and McClure after Bobbitt lent them $20 for gas.

In New Mexico, law enforcement uncovered a desert compound that prosecutors allege was used to train children for school shootings. The front page of this morning’s Philadelphia Inquirer, as well as three-hundred other newspapers across the country, featured an editorial denouncing Donald Trump’s war on news media, while simultaneously promoting the necessity of a free press. Stigall argues that the President is not attempting to stifle any publication, nor is he the reason people are skeptical of the news reported by certain outlets.

Kenilworth Public Schools superintendent, Thomas Tramaglini, will receive upwards of $100,000 from the New Jersey school district despite resigning amid allegations of having repetitively defecated on a rival school’s track. Tramaglini has been charged with lewdness, littering, and public defecation.

Last week, Attorney General Jeff Sessions had the audacity to dine at a “Tex-Mex” restaurant in Houston. The AG’s choice of food had liberals fuming—some even took to social media calling for a boycott on the restaurant that served Sessions. Chris wonders whether or not liberal outrage could have been avoided if Sessions only ate the “Tex” part of the “Tex-Mex” cuisine. PLUS Chris suffers a humiliating injury.

Chris can’t believe the current state of late night television, focusing primarily on Stephen Colbert. Colbert, who has Jim Acosta on his show last night, has stuck primarily to politics and in doing so, alienated half of his potential viewing audience. Chris argues that he knows why Colbert sticks mostly to politics and credits him for it somewhat working, but longs for the days of Letterman and Carson when the hosts tried appealing to a more mainstream and “every-man” audience.  After giving his thoughts on the current state of late night television, Chris picks apart Jim Acosta’s appearance on Colbert.
