My precious friends, we must learn to be happy in every situation, even if we don't understand it, or if it is not what we had in mind. God knows best! we can never complain! Even if a free ticket to heaven is the only thing he gives us, that is enough!

When we pray we are opening our hearts to God. We are telling him that He knows best and we do not. Even when we can't come up with words to pray, or don't know what to pray for, the Holy Spirit tells God for us!

God's thoughts are not our thoughts. He thinks heavenly and spiritually minded, and we tend to think human and worldly minded. God wants us to be transformed in our minds and start to think like He does. We will never reach perfection, but we can certainly strive together!

Our sin cuts us off from God. He is perfect and He is holy. Sin cannot be in His presence. Unlike a flower that is cut off at the stem and starts to die and can never be brought back to life, Jesus does the miracle of bringing us back to life! Those who do not accept Jesus are forever cut off, but we will never be cut off and will never die because of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus! Thank you Father! Thank you Jesus!

Sometimes we expect God to answer our prayers exactly the way we want Him to. When it doesn't happen like that we can feel disappointed. Let's remember that God knows best and whatever his answer is, is what is best for us. Let's strive to change our expectations to what He wants!
