None of us have the ability to ever be perfect. God knows this! Jesus was the only perfect human that has ever and will ever walk on this earth. That's why He went to the cross for us! To pay the penalty for our sins so that we don't have to give our lives to pay for our sins. God is so gracious and full of mercy to do such a thing for us! When we have accepted Jesus as our Lord and savior, God looks at Him and His perfection when He looks at us! He does not see our mistakes anymore. He sees His PERFECT Son!

Ever play on a team and have a really good coach or teammate? Or maybe you have had an awesome teacher or been paired up with someone for a school project and they were really smart and helpful? Having that great coach, teammate, teacher, or partner really makes a big difference! That's exactly what happens when we let Jesus into our lives to "join our team"! That's what happens when we let God be our coach!

Practicing how we show Jesus to others starts in our home. A lot of times people treat those who are close to them worse than they treat strangers. Let's change that! Show them the love and respect that you would show a teacher, coach, or youth group leader! It all starts at home!

"Work as if you are working for the Lord, not for men."

Growing is a super important thing! We grow in may ways! The Bible tells us to grow in our relationship with Jesus! Here are 4 ways we can make sure we are growing with Jesus each day! 1) Prayer. 2) Bible Study. 3) Giving. 4) Fellowship.

One of the most rejuvenating things is to spend alone time with God. Just you and Him. Blocking out the rest of the world and it's distractions. Retreating from all the cares and worries and stresses and allowing Him to comfort us and speak to our hearts. He wants our time and our attention. He deserves it! He loves us!

The Bible tells us that we are made in God's image. What a cool thought, right?! We are made in His image in so many ways. He loves us and adores us! Nothing can separate us from the love of Jesus! Nothing!

"He will keep his agreement of love for a thousand lifetimes. He does this for people who love him and obey his commands."

Only a GREAT God would give His son on the cross for us! Only a GREAT God would love us and want us with Him so badly that He would go to such great length to chase after our hearts, and desire a personal relationship with us. What a GREAT God we serve!

Value is another word for worth. When we talk about the value of something, we are talking about how much it is worth. God must have thought we are worth A LOT, because He sent His one and only perfect son to die for us on the cross. He sees our value. Jesus sees our value. We are a treasure to Him. What an awesome and comforting thought, huh? Oh how He loves us! Thank you Lord!

"God does not see the same way people see. People look at the outside of a person, but the Lord looks at the heart."

The Bible tells us that our bodies are a temple. A temple is where God lives. He dwells in His Holy temple. The Bible also tells us that our bodies are where His Holy Spirit lives. Think about that for a second! Our bodies are where the living, alive, Spirit of God lives! Wow, right?! Together, let's try to take better care of our bodies that God has given us!

"You should know that your body is a temple for the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is in you. You have received the Holy Spirit from God. You do not own yourselves."

God has made us all very different and very unique. The Bible says that He has given us all gifts! He cares and loves all of us so deeply and truly that He designed us all to serve Him in our own way. Read the 12th chapter of Romans today. It's one of my all time favorite chapters of the Bible. Really think and pray on what your gifts and strengths are. Then use those gifts and strengths to serve God with them!
