Today's topic is Christ Alone…Grace Alone.
When we are moved by God the Holy Spirit, we understand that salvation is a gift of God's grace. I have been teaching for years that God treats us with grace and mercy. With his hand of mercy, God takes away from us what we deserve, which is eternal death. And with his hand of grace, God grants us what we do not deserve, which is eternal life. See Paul’s words in Ephesians 2:8 to 10: “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast. For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.”
