In this sermon, we were reminded that Jesus Christ is our Great High Priest who continues to minister to His people. His priestly ministry is superior, and the covenant He mediates is built upon His great promises. Through Him, God faithfully fulfills His covenant, and assures His people of the forgiveness of sins."For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, declares the Lord: I will put my laws into their minds, and write them on their hearts,and I will be their God, and they shall be my people." (Hebrews 8:10)
