Hebrews 12:1 says, “let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us”.But how? And Awesome (v.11)2 Cor 4:16-17We need to be anchored in these truths because the world is watching how we handle difficulties. The world is watching how we deal with hardship, job loss, cancer, stress of raising children, financial struggles. Just because we follow Christ when things are going well shows them nothing. When we cling to Him when life is hard, when everything seems to be falling down arounds us, that is what shows the world that Christ is our treasure above all else. When we count everything as loss next to the surpassing worth of knowing Christ, we can lose everything and still stand.
