In this message from John 1:35–51, we walk alongside the first disciples as they encounter Jesus and respond to His invitation to “come and see.” When John the Baptist declares that Jesus is the Lamb of God, everything changes. Because Jesus is the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world, we cannot remain where we are. If we truly see Him for who He is, we must follow.

This message challenges us personally and as a church: Are we standing still, or are we actively following the Lamb of God?

What does it truly mean to know God—not at a distance, but up close and personal? In the opening verses of John’s Gospel, we are introduced to Jesus as the Word made flesh—God’s self-revelation who has stepped into our world. This passage invites us to see reality differently, beginning with Christ Himself. Main Point: Because Jesus is God’s Word made flesh, He is the starting point for how we see the world, ourselves, and our God. In this message, we will explore how Jesus is revealed as: The Word of Creation — through whom all things were made The Word of Life — the true light who overcomes darkness The Word of Grace — God drawing near to us in mercy and truth.

In Luke 1:67–80, Zechariah erupts in praise as he reflects on God’s faithfulness to His long-standing promises. After centuries of waiting, God is on the move—showing once again that He never forgets what He has promised to His people.

Today we will explore how God’s promises anchor our hope, especially in seasons of uncertainty and fear. The birth of John the Baptist points us to a God whose commitment has not changed and whose promises find their fulfillment in Jesus. Whether you’re weary from waiting or longing for assurance, this passage reminds us that our hope is secure because it rests in a faithful God.

In this week’s message, we turn to Micah 5:1–6 to behold the joy that breaks into the darkness through the coming of God’s true King. In a world under siege—spiritually, emotionally, and morally—Micah announces a ruler who is unlike any other. Jesus is the King who delivers us from the siege of sin and death, and because he has come, we can trust in his kingship instead of our own strength.

As Christmas approaches, it can feel harder than ever to get into the “holiday spirit.” The world is heavy, injustices are loud, and sometimes “chestnuts roasting on an open fire” just doesn’t land. So where do we turn when the season of joy feels out of reach?

In this episode, we look to an unlikely voice: a young, marginalized girl living under an oppressive empire—Mary. Her song, the Magnificat, isn’t sentimental fluff. It’s a revolutionary proclamation. A cry for justice. A promise of mercy. A declaration that God is turning the world upside down.

When darkness feels heavy… when guilt weighs deep… and when injustice seems loud… where do we turn?

In Micah 7:7–10, we hear one of the boldest declarations of hope in all of Scripture:

"But as for me, I will look to the LORD… my God will hear me."

This sermon reminds us that real hope is not found in circumstances changing — it is found in God remaining faithful.
