Through Abraham, the prophet with many faults, a representative of a foreign nation comes to understand how God will bring blessing to the nations, through Christ, the Final Prophet who intercedes for us, covering all our faults.

The Lord shows Abraham his just judgement in his dealings with the wicked people of Sodom. We come to know that he will judge the world with justice, and our only hope is in Jesus.

Abram is a victorious rescuer, yet God's priest-king is greater. However impressive many leaders are, Jesus is supreme! He alone is God's priest-king forever.
