Keeping our Eyes on the King

• We must regain a deep appreciation for the Old Testament, especially the testimony of the Biblical prophets! 

• We must pay attention to the political and military developments in Israel and the Middle East.

• All of the nations surrounding Israel today are Muslim majority nations who share a collective hatred for both Jews and Christians – which is the spirit of antichrist.

• The Scriptures emphasize the coming invasion of hostile nations surrounding Israel in the last days.

• The Antichrist will most certainly emerge from a Muslim context and form military alliances to unite the Middle East in reviving the Islamic Caliphate.

• The Day of the LORD describes the return of Christ and His judgment against specific nations.

• We must keep our eyes fixed on Zion – God’s holy mountain – for He has claimed Jerusalem forever!

• We speed the return of the King by fulfilling the Great Commission until the fullness of the Gentiles is complete.

Possessing the Mind of Christ 

Truth #1 — Jesus and the Apostles warned us that spiritual deception would be the primary sign of the end times. [Matthew 24, Acts 20:28-32,

2 Timothy 4:1-5]

Truth #2 — The primary weapon that cuts through the darkness of spiritual deception and reveals the truth is the Sword of the Spirit — the Word of God. [Ephesians 6:16-20, Hebrews 4:12-13]

Truth #3 — Without the mind of Christ and the interpretation of the Holy Spirit, we cannot even begin to comprehend Scripture, leaving us vulnerable to false teachings. [1 Corinthians 2:10-16]

Truth #4 — If our minds are to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ, then we must be transformed by the daily renewal of our minds. [Romans 12:1-2]

Be Doers of the Word 

Make sure that you have the mind of Christ and make the commitment everyday to renew your mind with His Word!

Preparing for the Last Days — Sealed with the Holy Spirit

• You will not be prepared to face these last days unless you are sealed with the Holy Spirit. [2 Corinthians 1:21-22]

• God seals those who hear and believe the gospel and are born again. [John 3:1-8, Ephesians 1:13-14]

• The Holy Spirit is God’s security deposit which guarantees our eternal inheritance and final redemption. [Ephesians 1:13-14]

• God puts a seal of ownership upon those who have been adopted into His family — providing blessed assurance to all who belong to Christ. [Romans 8:9-17
