As the Pharisees challenge and seek to undermine Jesus, he teaches them about the true purpose of the Sabbath and shows his amazing compassion to a man with a withered hand. The Pharisees, in anger, decide to put him to death.

Jesus offers rest to the weary and the opportunity to learn from Christ.  This promise comes after he pronounces woe to the Pharisees revealing the need for repentance and then shows that God is sovereign in salvation.

A call to repent, a call to return to God from sinful ways, ignoring God.  In the midst of sorrow and suffering return to the LORD and he will receive you with mercy.
