Covenantal Pattern of the Text - for the future A. God Initiates - Care of the lamps and the bread in the tabernacle (24:1-9) B. Separation of Sinners - Penalty for blasphemy (24:10-23) C. Consecration of the Land - Sabbath Year & Year of Jubilee (25:1-55) D. Judgment/Blessing - Promises of future blessing/cursing & subsequent redemption (26) E. Succession - Redemption of the holy things or provision for the priests (27)III. Easter and the Future A. God Initiates - He puts the oil in our hearts, His cleansing fire burns there perpetually. Likewise the bread of life is always in His presence and we are united to Him. B.
