Sometimes the Bible is comforting, but sometimes it is challenging. It can be so easy to avoid the things in it that are hard, because we'd rather stay happy than pursue being holy. But what if God has more for us than the life we're settling for? This Sunday we are going to start looking at the story of Samson and in his brokenness, we will see our brokenness. And yet it is in that place of vulnerability, that we also encounter God's grace.

Grace is a familiar word, but do we really live in that good of it? If grace is amazing, then why do we so often carry guilt, angst, fear, and doubt? This Sunday we are going to see a story in Judges 13 that is all about grace, and my prayer is that we all will see a little bit more how grace can change everything.
