In the final sermon on the book of Job, Pastor Chad brings us to God's response to Job's accusations. As we look at the conclusion of the book we see a new perspective on suffering and how to respond to God when we are in the midst of suffering.

What does godly fatherhood look like? In this message, Pastor Chad unpacks Hebrews 12, revealing how God's loving discipline demonstrates His perfect fatherhood and challenges fathers to lead their families with love, integrity, and steadfast faith.

Following the unhelpful counsel of his three friends, Job begins to demand an audience with God because he believes his suffering is undeserved. A younger onlooker named Elihu can hold his silence no longer and help Job to reframe his questioning of God. In this sermon, Pastor Chad walks us through what suffering without explanation should look like in the life of a believer.

Job 28 teaches that true wisdom—especially in times of suffering—cannot be discovered or bought through human ingenuity or effort, but comes only from God. Wisdom’s value exceeds all earthly treasures, and it is found in “the fear of the Lord,” a reverent, awe-filled submission to God that leads us to turn away from evil. Practically, this looks like a life of faith, repentance, spiritual disciplines, and daily submission to Christ, trusting Him in trials just as Christ embodied perfect wisdom in His own suffering.

In this sermon, Pastor Chad looks at the way Job's three visiting friends unhelpfully interact with Job in the midst of his suffering. He then draw out ways that we can learn to better minister to those who suffer.

In the second sermon on the Book of Job, Pastor Chad uses Job 2:11–13 to show how Job’s three friends initially model a godly way of responding to suffering through costly presence, shared grief, and seven days of silent companionship. He calls the church to move toward those who suffer, meet them with compassionate presence rather than quick answers, and practice humble, non‑anxious companionship that reflects Christ’s own willingness to weep with those who weep.

Pastor Chad introduces a new series in Job and wrestles with the question, “Why do good people suffer?” He explains that Job is presented as uniquely righteous so we know his suffering is not caused by secret sin, but is allowed by God to reveal real faith that trusts Him even when blessings are stripped away. The call for believers is to respond to trials like Job—honestly lamenting, yet continuing to trust and worship God—knowing that, as James 5 says, the Lord is ultimately compassionate and merciful.

Pastor Chad honors God by showing the way that God's character is shown in the actions of Mose's birth mother and adoptive mother in Exodus chapter 2.

Pastor Chad argues that Christianity is necessarily exclusive because Jesus himself—and his apostles after him—clearly claimed he is the only way to God, a claim validated if the resurrection is historically true. He explains that truth by nature excludes what contradicts it, so different religions cannot all be equally true about how we are reconciled to God, even though the one narrow way in Christ is freely offered to everyone. He then urges believers to boldly and lovingly share this exclusive gospel, centering conversations on the risen Jesus rather than themselves, embodying the message through genuine love, and letting communion remind them both of the cost of salvation and of those who still need to hear.
