  • Surely He Will Curse You
    CCW4: St. Alban's
Satan puts God and Job and all of humanity in the dock. In the face of
undeserved suffering, can we hold on to God? And is he good enough to hold
on to if all his blessings are stripped away?

  • The Devil: Be Informed
    Friday Holy Communion
The devil. Not often talked about. Sometimes feared. Occasionally
ridiculed. Richard picks up the reference to the devil wanting to devour us
in 1 Peter 5 and shows what fighting back might look like from the rest of
the Scriptures and the book of 1 Peter itself. One to listen to if you’ve
ever felt under spiritual attack or wondering how Satan fits into the big
    picture of the Bible.

  • Safeguarding from Suffering
    CCW4: St. Alban's
The book of Job shows us that human wisdom on its own cannot comprehend the
ways of God. Despite some helpful reflections from tradition, underserved
suffering has no easy answer. We fall silence before the ultimate wisdom of
    God.
    Job 1:1-5

  • Wait
    CCW4: St. Alban's
Richard explains how ‘we might as well wait’ because God has got everything
    under his ultimate control.
