What happens when the people of God forget God? This week, as we continue our study of biblical remembrance, we consider what it looks like when we forget, forsake, and cease to remember the God who has redeemed us.

Text: Jeremiah 2:4-13, 31-32

How is remembrance meant to inform our worship, especially when our present circumstances seem to contradict what we know and believe about God? Listen this week as we consider this question in our continued study of biblical remembrance.

Text: Psalm 77

As we continue to discuss biblical remembrance, how does a generation remember a saving event it never personally experienced? Listen as we consider how the Passover carried the story of the Exodus from generation to generation—and how that helps us understand Jesus’ command to “do this in remembrance of me.”

Text: Exodus 12:1–14, 24–27

Why would God want the Israelites to remember their slavery in Egypt? Wouldn't it make more sense, and more gracious, to help them to forget that trauma? Listen as we consider the commands surrounding their slavery remembrance and what it teaches us when Jesus tells us to "do this in remembrance of me."

What does it mean for God to "remember"? Listen as we continue our study into biblical remembrance.

Text: Ex 2:23-25; 6:2-9
