So far throughout our study of Hebrews, this beautiful sermon and epistle has shown us that the Lord Jesus is God's Superior Revelation to the world, our Superior hope, and our Superior High Priest. Now, as we begin to wind down this letter and prepare for Christ the King and Advent, we turn our attention to the Lord Jesus's sacrifice of himself as the Superior once-for-all offering for sin. 

Text: Hebrews 9:11-14

How are we to properly relate to God? Is this something that is even possible for us? The author of Hebrews would tell us "Yes! It is possible to relate to God, but only through Jesus." Listen this week as Pastor Nick walks us through how the High Priestly ministry of the Lord Jesus, particularly in his interceding for us, provides us with the superior paradigm for coming to God. 

Hebrews 7:23-28 

David Burke kicks off a new study in our Sunday School hour this week - a discussion on the Inerrancy of Scripture! In this first lesson, David introduces us to our topic as well as gives us a little background from a conference he attended on Biblical Inerrancy during the period of this contentious debate. Ultimately, he helps us to see how the warnings of yesterday are proving to be prophetic today. 

This week, we explore even more deeply the qualifications that make the Lord Jesus our Superior High Priest before God. Join us as Pastor Nick walks us through the compare and contrast of the priestly Order of Aaron vs the Order of Melchizedek.
