The first invitation to follow Jesus is often not an invitation to change one's mind or behavior, or even an invitation to make a commitment or a decision, but simply an invitation to come and see.

Presented by Pastor Joshua Johnson on Sunday, December 30, 2018.

Presented by Pastor Joshua Johnson on Sunday, December 23, 2018.

During periods of God's silence, religion becomes more about people than about God.  Jesus helps us to remember that God exists and that our religious observances are principally about Him.

If we are to approach God to ask Him to do things He would not otherwise have done, we must come reverently, and we must know the kind of requests God has demonstrated Himself to be willing to entertain.
