We jumped back into our God Revealed Series this week as we spent time unpacking the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000. The different aspects of Jesus and His heart for people was most evident as the story progressed. For us, we saw that Jesus has the same heart for us.

We pause from our series through the Gospel of John to spend 2 weeks unpacking the idea of Community. We spent our time this week focusing on Why Community matters and why we should participate in it with others that are wanting to know Jesus.

As we continue through our God Revealed Series, we took some time to examine some of Jesus's statements He made about Himself. This text brought memories of C.S Lewis's famous quote "Lunatic, Lier, Lord" from Mere Christianity. As we discussed, Jesus made some very bold statements about who He was and what He came to do, which leaves us without the option of accepting him as just a good man. He had to be Crazy, Evil or everything He claimed...Lord.

This week we look at Jesus 3rd Sign as he heals the man by the pool of Bethesda. He had been lame for 38 years and Jesus asks him, " Do you want to be made well?" What a question to ask. What if Jesus asked us the same question?

As we continue our God Revealed Series this week we take a look at the conversation Jesus has with a woman at a well in Samaria. She was dismissed socially, despised religiously, and dishonored communally. But Jesus lovingly pursued her and showed her how to quench her hearts deepest thirst. It is a beautiful story.

As we continue our trek through the book of John, we spend time today discussing the conversation that Jesus has with a curious, Jewish leader who comes to him by night. The conversation ranges from talking about being born again, to a story about a snake on a pole. Although these seem like a wide range of topics, Jesus's focus was clear, we must trust Him for life.
