This world is messed up and we long for a better one. The word "heaven" evokes thoughts of paradise and perfection. Is that really the case or have we been duped?

Hell is not fun to think about. Many of us wish it were not real, and some refuse to believe it. But what does Jesus think (and feel!) about hell?

Is there a second chance after death? Who gets in to heaven or hell? On what basis are we judged? And most of all – what difference does all this make?

If we'll have bodies in The Afterlife, how old will we be? Will we be transformed somehow? Will we recognize other people? A clear understanding of your body then can fill you with courageous passion to live for God now.

As Christ followers, it makes sense that we look forward to The Afterlife. But it's also possible to experience a full and joyful life together in the "here and now."

There are all kinds of ideas on what happens the minute a person dies. But some things taught in popular writings or even sung in Christian songs are wrong. Let's see what the Bible has to say.
