The Apostle Paul ends this amazing epistle in his own handwriting, taking the pen away from the scribe in order for these Galatian Christians to weight of how personally their salvation and sanctification was to him. He leaves them with a strong warning and yet an endearing encouragement in grace.

The Lord does not bless us with our finances for them to be hoarded for ourselves. His will is for us is to bless others. Our first priority is the health of the local church and so our main concern is to make sure we are faithfully giving to support it. But our giving doesn’t stop there, we are called to be generous with everyone as the Lord would give us opportunity.

Christianity is no lone wolf adventure; we are called to community. As we live out our faith together there may be times when correction is needed and those who are spiritual are called upon to restore the one who has wondered…in a spirit of gentleness!
