Christ Journey Church - Messages (Video)

A scarcity mindset means being managed by fear of not having enough, only to discover that the fear doesn’t go away when you get more. That doesn’t mean getting more is bad, it just means getting more isn’t the full solution. You’re meant for more than that! Receive all God gives, keep all you need, and share all you can.

If you want to grow to be the kind of person God can use to dare greatly in expanding his reach as grace generates life-giving generosity, this series is for you. Jesus is leading us to counter the culture in ways that help people find and follow Christ. We don’t give to get, but when we give, God does too. What are your next steps on the journey?

God does for us what we could never do for ourselves in Christ. Where sin does its worst, God does his best. This Easter weekend we celebrate the love of God for his beloved! Will you let him love you?

Happy Easter!

Can you think of a moment in your life when a friend helped you through a situation? Today’s message brings us into the heart of how significant friendship can be especially when it comes to our faith. How far are you willing to go for someone else?

Today’s message is the first one of our new series: For the Love of God. It’s easy to fall in love with the people in our lives, but not so easy sometimes to fall in love with God – this requires faith, not only to believe that He loves us, but also to believe that we are loveable. How do we open that conversation for ourselves or for others?

Christianity is not a spectator sport. True Christ-followers follow Christ; and faithfully following Jesus may take you into places where you’ll feel like you’re in over your head! Our last message of the Heroes of Faith series challenges us to leave our comfort zones and “walk on water” trusting Christ to do the impossible. Where is your risk today?

What do you believe in? What you’re believing in right now affects your behavior. Today’s message takes us into the story of David and Goliath. If you look carefully, the text offers three ways you can live your life. You can live believing in your abilities, your disabilities or in God’s ability. Who’s really showing up on your battlefield… you or God?

Some of us at this very moment are in life situations beyond our control. Maybe an inner voice keeps saying, ‘Things are never gonna change…’ Today’s message helps us see how not to lock God into our limitations and unbelief. The principles you’ll hear will equip you for victory over strongholds in your life.

If you’ve ever been tired of waiting, troubled by the thought that what you’re waiting for may never happen, this message is for you. We start our series, Heroes of Faith, by looking at the story of Abraham and Sarah. They were excited to have received an awesome promise from God, but next thing you know, many years of delay pass before the fulfillment comes.

What’s the most audacious thing you’ve ever done? This message closes out our series, The Christ Journey, and we are looking at how to be audacious in our faith. When people insult you, persecute you or falsely say evil against you… what do you do?
