Title: Seeing God's Vision

Today's Scripture: Hebrews 11:1-6

Have you ever heard, "Faith is believing something you know isn't true?" If you ever want to truly grow in Christ, it is essential that you learn the difference between make-believe and real believing. What is real faith? How does it work? What does it look like?

What is your next step of faith? Is there an area—finances, family, relationships, a difficult circumstance, or something else—where God may be inviting you to trust Him more deeply? What practical step could you take this week?

Today's Scripture: Matthew 16:25-26, 2 Peter 1:8

The pursuit of happiness happens when people die to self and grow in character that helps save others.

Knowing that life is temporary, what is one area where God may be inviting you to surrender your own plans, comfort, or control so you can invest more fully in what has eternal value?

Jesus sees us truly, loves us fully, restores what sin tears apart, dignifies those the world overlooks, calls the young, heals the wounded.

Let’s continue becoming the kind of church that honors the dignity of every image-bearer, fighting for the faith of the next generation.

Liberty isn’t only an American aspiration. It’s a gospel promise for every person who trusts in Jesus. The Declaration may name liberty as a right endowed by the Creator, but Jesus reveals what liberty is for. We were not made to live in bondage to sin. We were made to live under the gracious and liberating reign of our true King and Father!

Today’s Scripture: Galatians 3:26-28

Let the church be the place where the world gets a preview of what true equality looks like.

We need to ask - What kind of people are we becoming? What values are we living? Where do those values come from? Do we merely admire them in history, or do we embody them in our lives?

“We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” The Declaration said it. Lincoln fought to move the nation closer to it. But long before that, God had already spoken it in creation.

The redeemed people of God from every tribe and tongue will stand before His throne and prove that in Christ equality is not just a phrase to quote – but a people, community, body to become.

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 17:6-8

Mountain Men – explorers, trailblazers, wilderness types.

Also - people willing to give their lives to make way for the kingdom of God to arrive.

Three were on the Mount of Transfiguration with Jesus, Moses and Elijah - Peter, James and John.

They were ambitious and highly motivated but also men under construction, raw and rugged, with real potential - diamonds in the rough.

Today’s Scripture: Luke 9:35
What does it mean to know this Jesus? To be changed by him? 

To give him the respect he's due?  To marvel in who Jesus truly is? 

To worship and serve him as God? To let him show us the Father?

To let our fathering follow his?

Maybe we could get to know the Father through the Son and love him back because He first loved us. 

God is a loving Father who is crazy about you, wants to be close to you and pour his good pleasure out on you.

Today’s Scripture: Matthew 17:1-9Jesus fulfills God’s law to become a perfect spotless sacrifice and atone for our sin. He fulfills the prophecies of Messiah doing for us what we cannot do for ourselves.

Would you believe that God sees every single person the same way basketball scouts looked at Victor Wembanyama at age 15 in France? He sees not just what you are but what you were made to become.

God sees the glory He wrote into your design before you were born.
