We may hear this frequently, but it's not the end of the story. There are some important truths embedded in the Bible concerning this oft-quoted phrase, as well as some implications that are many times left out, but that need to be proclaimed. I hope this will clarify some things for all of us.

The Church (not the building, but Jesus' flock) has not only been saved and is being sanctified for His use, but has a gift or gifts the Spirit has apportioned to it to operate in, to edify and strengthen itself, and to be used for His Kingdom and glory. Find out what this means and what you should do about it.

The continuation of the first portion that exhorts and teaches us that, as Christians, we should not be content to be ignorant of, or apathetic towards, the gift or gifts the Spirit apportions to those who are walking in His ways.

You need to hear this Word from the Spirit and heed it. So do I. This is not a light thing; it can and does and will affect others (not just you). Thank the Lord for caring and loving us enough to point this out. It's not always something we see, at least not as we should. Thanks!

You need to hear what the Lord God is saying to me, and to YOU, on this subject, even if you think it doesn't apply to you, or that it's a Christian no-brainer.

A Prayer and a Confession I'm sharing and how the Lord God leads and guides and supplies! It's ALL HIM!

This means exactly what it says. Father God is speaking to all His sons and daughters. How? Through Romans 13:14, for me. Listen and let me share with you!

I asked Holy Spirit to further reveal Himself to me. He prompted me in this. Maybe, probably, you need to know Him and understand Him and to appreciate Him much better, too. I strongly believe you will benefit from this as I have. He might just be more involved in your life than you think.

Romans 14 is more, I think, than what is on the surface and many pastors may be missing the mark or explaining it too simply. This is more of me diving in to what I have some trouble grasping, at least in terms of how it has been taught and explained. Think through this with me and see where the Father leads you to understanding what He is telling us.
