Alli says “with this new book, God gave me the word happy. At first, I thought it was silly because I thought God doesn’t allow us to be happy. But He kept putting it on my heart, so I spent a year of my life studying what scripture tells us about happiness.
Many of us grow up in a church culture that says to know joy is to be Holy in the Lord, but happiness is fleeting. Through my research in scripture, I found that there’s no distinction between joy and happiness.”
