I continue on in my analysis of Buddhism. Have you ever posted a Buddhist quote on Instragram? Do you actually know anything about Buddhism? 

What is Buddhism?  What does it mean to be Buddhist? What needs to be true in order for Buddhism to be true? Can it be falsified? Should it be falsified? 

I start going through Genesis 18 here. We look at how hospitable Abraham was. He runs to serve. He says he'll give a little and gives a lot. We get to hear from Rashi and talk about Sarah's womb (might as well after discussing Abraham's penis). 

I found a bookmark in a book I got from my grandfather and it got me thinking. This podcast will discuss aliens and ghosts.

We continue in Mark noting how Jesus interacts with the sabbath, chooses his disciples, and talk a little bit about how names were related to black magic in the 1st century.

We continue Mark going into the baptism, the monarchical significance of it, ties to creation, Adam, Abraham, Solomon, and how all of this sets up the rest of the gospel and the temple discourse.

I take a break from Genesis to talk about what the Jewish expectation was when they used the words "good news". I also tie together concepts from creation, Abraham, and the prophets to set the foundation for how to read the gospels as they were originally intended when describing Jesus's life.

This is where I go into God's promise to bring kings from Abraham. I also talk more about Abraham's penis then you've probably ever wanted to talk about penises. 

This episode takes a break from the Genesis narrative's progressive to focus in on Hagar's feelings and connect them to depression in general and other stories in the Bible that have characters in an analogous situation. This episode primarily focuses on Elijah's similar journey in the desert and invites us all to acknowledge our shared depression and, perhaps if now what to do with it, to at least know that we aren't alone. 

Hagar has escaped into the desert, alone crying and pregnant. Will she survive?
