Evangelist Ronny Wade asked the question, “Does It Make Any Difference How You Are Saved?” in our last installment. His next important question for everyone to consider is: “Does It Make Any Difference Where You Go To Church?” Our great thanks and appreciation for David Griffin’s excellent audio recordings of this classic booklet: “Does It Make Any Difference?”

There are a number of questions often postulated concerning the loaf which God’s people use in the observance of the Lord’s Supper. In this sermon from evangelist Ronny Wade, focus is given to, as the apostle called it, “the bread which we break” (1 Corinthians 10:16).

Evangelist Ronny Wade authored several written contributions that have greatly benefited many people. One booklet in particular which can be seen on racks in the back of many congregational meeting places across the country is called, “Does It Make Any Difference?” Our good friend and great preacher, David Griffin, has performed a wonderful service by making “Does It Make Any Difference?” available as an audio recording and we are happy to feature the booklet’s three sections over the next three Fridays starting with: “Does It Make Any Difference How You Are Saved?”

Demas was a man who had a great start in his preaching career as a co-laborer of the apostle Paul. However, later in Paul’s writings we read of his sad end: “For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world…” (2 Timothy 4:10). What happened to Demas and what lesson should we learn from his example? Evangelist Ronny Wade has the answers!

Do we sleep the sleep of the weary, the presumptuous, the sluggard, or the spiritually dead? Ronny Wade teaches in this sermon that it is high time to awake from sleep, fear the Lord, and recognize the duties and the responsibilities of the Christian.

We are heavy-hearted to learn of the passing of evangelist Ronny Wade. Ronny was an extraordinary man. He had a keen mind, a hunger to study and understand the Bible, and an amazing capacity to communicate the will of God to others. Everyone who heard Ronny preach or read his books and articles learned from him.

Over the next few weeks we hope to highlight some of Ronny’s sermons we have been able to record over the years starting with this lesson where Ronny highlights some crucial and vitally important information every single person must know.

Today in our first post in 2020, we present an audio sermon from 2009 where evangelist Johnny Elmore encourages us to meet Jesus. We hope you enjoy!

In this sermon, Johnny Elmore addresses the question: What does it mean in John 7 when it says “As the scriptures have said…?” Where in the Old Testament is this reference found?

On the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.” (Jn 7:37–38).

Jesus said, “He who is not with Me is against Me, and he who does not gather with Me scatters abroad.” (Matthew 12:30). What does this statement from the Master mean? Find out in this sermon from evangelist Johnny Elmore about the Great Gatherer, Jesus Christ.
