Between Friday and Sunday there was a day of silence. A day when everything felt over, when hope felt buried, and when the people who believed the most had no idea what was coming next. Most of us know what that day feels like.

Life is a roller coaster. Some days you are on top of the hill and everything is great. Some days you are going downhill so fast you want to quit. And some days the ride just stops and leaves you hanging, wondering if it is ever going to move again.

In 1977, NASA attached a golden record to a spacecraft with 55 greetings in 55 languages, photos of Earth, and music from cultures around the world. They sent it into space with one hope: that it might reach someone, somewhere, with a message from Earth.

That is not the first time someone went to great lengths and great personal cost to send a message with the hope of it reaching someone somewhere. The church has been doing it since Acts 13.

Pastor Jeremy closes out the Missions on the Move series by looking at the moment the Holy Spirit interrupted a worship service in Antioch and said, set these two apart, I am sending them. What happened next changed the world, and the same call is still going out today.

Most of us have a Samaria. A place that feels too different, too divided, or too far outside our comfort zone to bother with. A line we were taught not to cross. And so we avoid it, take the long way around, and call it wisdom.

But when Jesus gave the church their mission, he did not let them skip Samaria. He named it specifically. And in Acts 8, when persecution scattered the church out of Jerusalem, the first place the gospel landed was the place everyone had been avoiding.

A church can be faithful, disciplined, and active and still drift from the one thing Jesus says matters most. First love.

It is not always obvious sin that pulls your heart away. Sometimes it is a hurt that has become so defining it crowds everything else out. Sometimes it is an ambition, a dream, a financial goal, or a need that has grown so consuming it quietly replaces Jesus at the center of your life. And the enemy has been counting on you not to notice.

There is no algorithm that can calculate the glory of God. And Pastor Jeremy believes that glory is being poured out right now to reshape affections, release authority, and help the people of God reclaim their assignment. But it starts with one honest question: what has your heart?

Empty nets. A tired fisherman. A request from Jesus that sounds like terrible advice. Luke 5 starts in the kind of frustration we all know, then flips into a moment that exposes what faith really is: "Because you say so."

Just because it has not happened yet does not mean God is not going to do it.

God is not looking for any time. He is looking for the right time. The time when what he does does not just change your life, but changes the lives of everyone around you.

Most Christians are praying to get out of hard places. But Jesus keeps showing up in the worst ones on purpose.

He didn't announce his church in Jerusalem. He took his disciples 30 miles north to the most perverse place of his day, a city so dark that Jewish rabbis forbade people from going there. And standing at a cave the locals literally called the Gates of Hell, he said, "On this rock I will build my church."

That was not an accident. And neither is where God has placed you.

Your voice has more weight than you think and Acts 4 proves it. A lame man asked Peter and John for money. They didn't have any. They gave him something better.

Are you a Word person or a Spirit person? Pastor Noah Ray says that question is part of the problem.
