Before I give you the full introduction to this guest, I have to share something a little fun and unexpected.
For the first time on this podcast, I found myself in a lively back-and-forth banter with my guest during a live recording — and I loved every minute of it. Andre AJ Carter and I went toe-to-toe for several minutes, exchanging perspectives, making strong points, and respectfully challenging each other. It was energetic, thoughtful, and honestly refreshing. I’ve never done this with any guest before, so if you’re a fiction or nonfiction writer, an avid reader, or someone who simply enjoys meaningful conversation, you’ll want to tune in and listen. And when you do, let us know whose side you found yourself agreeing with.
After that spirited exchange, we shifted back to the heart of why Andre joined me on the show — his work, his books, and his passion for helping people build healthier relationships. Andre shared how his writing has helped married couples, people in relationships, and even singles navigate love, conflict, purpose, and growth. What stood out was how deeply his work is rooted in practical wisdom and biblical principles, offering real solutions that people can actually apply to their lives.
We talked about relationships, marriage, personal responsibility, and how books can become powerful tools for healing, understanding, and lasting connection. Whether you’re married, dating, single, or simply interested in relationships that honor God, this episode offers insight, encouragement, and plenty to reflect on.
