Corporate encounter will never replace personal intimacy with HIM!
What we say matters. Scripture shows us different ways we can confess, speak, and declare God’s Word—and each one has a place in our everyday lives. In this message, we’ll look at four kinds of confession in the New Testament and how we can put them into practice.
Paul reminds us to be “fervent in spirit, serving the Lord.” Our service isn’t about recognition, position, or what we get in return. It’s about reflecting the heart of Jesus in the way we love, serve, encourage, and care for others.
🔥 Real service is humble.
Real service is sacrificial.
Real service is consistent.
Real service puts others first.
Jesus said, “Whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.”
Serving the church means more than filling a position. It means looking for opportunities to meet a need, carry a burden, encourage someone, make room for someone else, and use what God has given us to build His house.
Sometimes serving looks like a microphone.
Sometimes it looks like a camera.
Sometimes it looks like holding a door, making a meal, praying with someone, or simply noticing a need and meeting it.
The question isn’t, “What can I get?”
It’s “How can I serve?”
🔥 Am I willing to serve even when no one sees it?
🔥 Am I using what God has given me to build His church?
🔥 Do I look for opportunities to make someone else’s life better?
🔥 Am I serving from love, or from recognition?
🔥 Does the way I serve reflect the heart of Jesus?
We weren’t saved to sit on the sidelines.
We are the Church. We are a body. And every person has something to bring.
A church that serves is a church that loves.
A church that serves is a church that carries one another.
A church that serves is a church that looks like Jesus.
This is what it means to live with a fire that serves. 🔥
