This week Dan and Jared welcome Pastor Johnathan Colby to the show. Among his many other accomplishments, perhaps the most impressive is that he was able to survive being Jared's roommate in college...impressive. Johnathan discusses how his faith has carried him through some pretty challenging times the past few years. His story is encouraging and a great example of Christian faithfulness.

After a bit of a hiatus, Dan and Jared return with a Hot Topic. This week they talk about reaching out to the hurting and what keeps us fearful from doing so. They also welcome a new sponsor to the program...The AAMW. Give what you can to help those in need.

If you are, you will find encouragement...and if you're not you'll also find encouragement and maybe a little more understanding of how Christians think about living a life that honors God using the gifts and grace that God has given us in Christ.

Ok, chances are this episode is probably going to make some people mad...and that's a good thing! Jared and Dan explore their different takes on patriotism and politics and see if they can still be friends. Spoiler alert...they can because ultimately the bond they have in Christ is stronger than politics, but this conversation makes for a very interesting episode. Good conversations to have!!
