Woodland Baptist Church in San Antonio, Texas was C3’s first “Church of the Year" in 2022. Mike Massar, Associate Pastor of Woodland, tells the story of how their church became the first faith community in San Antonio to receive the Silver Star for environmental sustainability. This recognition led to many young families joining their church, desiring to be in a faith community that cared about the earth.
