Garments are found all throughout the scriptures whether it was Joseph’s Coat of many colors, the whole armor of God, or the parable of the man with the wedding garments to name a few. As Christians, God has chosen to clothe us in righteousness but that often means putting off one thing so that we can pick up the garments He truly intends for us. One day there will be a wedding supper of the Lamb—are you wearing the garments He gave you?
