What's up COTM fam!

Welcome back to our first themed episode of the year. In "State of Being" we discuss being moved by faith and not by circumstance, we relate it to real life (RECENT)situations as well as stories from the bible that are over a thousand years old.

We pick right up with discussing the process of losing a job and the direct response in those given circumstances as well as others that relate to it.

God's favor does not only reflect in your brightest of moments, but the darkest of them as well.

Now, before we get into our topics like we did in Season 1, we wanted to show you guys a much more personal, intimate, behind the scenes look at what really goes on behind these episodes. This is literally how this podcast / platform was started, us going through our own things but then deciding to let one another in on it. Where two or more are gathered in his name...boy

Welcome to COTM Season 2! AHHHHHHHH!! Goodness, we are so excited to be back. It's been a long time comin' but it's finally here.

We wanted to start the year off right. Take a moment to digest what 2017 did in our lives as individuals and as a fellowship to refresh our mind's and refocus for 2018. After reflecting on taking the last two months off, this episode and this season are a direct reflection of what God's timing truly is like. The ultimate finesse, everything in due time. Be patient and keep digging, your promise has already been made!

This track is self-explanatory. With the thought that there's still so much of us that you guy's don't know yet, we wanted to come out and individually share WHO and/or WHAT God is to us. There's no doubt he has called us together, but why? We don't even have that answer, but what we do know is that he has called us all for different reasons, in different ways, but for a common goal. We hope you enjoy this episode and enjoyed this whole season of us growing and finding our voice in Christ on a level to where we can share and experience it with you all. See you in Season 2! #COTM

We had to round off the first season of COTM with a bang. Fellowship really might have been the key to this whole adventure. We each had our own strengths within our belief, but once we came together and vulnerably opened up to one another...nothing could stop us anymore. We're beyond grateful for this fellowship God has brought into our lives, and we pray that you find your brothers and sisters to help hold you up when things get heavy. We recorded this episode an hour ago, no edits, just us getting straight to the point. Temptation comes in infinite shapes and forms, and our enemy preys on us when we are at are weakest. He also knows the scriptures and how to apply them so that he can use them against us. Arm yourselves so that in the darkest days you can still resonate the brightest light. #COTM

A week ago, Jaamal and I (Rudee) were in the car sitting waiting for my order at SmokeEaters in San Jose, CA to be ready. I was telling him that although I’ve begun to start reading my word that I haven’t taken the time to write down my favorite verses, verses that related, etc. so that I can use them to speak life into the world around me when dealing with life’s circumstances. I cracked open a Bible app, found a 4 day devotional on God’s Promises and that’s where this picks up.

I wanted to upload this episode for a couple reasons.

One, to show you that you don’t need to know your word front to back to have a relationship with your Father, be confident in what you know and progress from there.

Two, to show how much his word helps when YOUR words and plans fail.

Third, and finally, to show that when two or more are gathered in his name, his presence truly is there. He met us where we were, sitting in my car in a busy parking lot just two kids waiting for food willing to give him a minute. That's truly all he wants.

Everybody has a habit they've broken through or are still battling with. Outside of that habit, we also have many more. The question is, what is holding you back from your destiny?
