It is Christmas Season, trees are decorated, lights are twinkling, songs are being sung! It is such a wonderful time of year! Do you remember growing up when you Mom had to buy that box containing 300 Christmas cards? She worked feverishly to make sure everyone in God's creation received the Christmas card. 

In Isaiah 9, the Israelites go from the impression that the walls of life are closing in without hope and without help and suddenly, seemingly out of nowhere over 200 years early, drops a Christmas Card from Heaven! The card reads, "For unto us a Child is born, unto us a Son is given; and the government will be upon His shoulder and His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace." I don't know what you're facing today, but I know The Christmas promise that came to the Israelites is the answer today!
