On that first Christmas, the Son of God came to this earth and became our Emmanuel, a name that declares His proximity because He is literally "God with us." The good news behind God leaving the glory and majesty of heaven for the dirt and dust of the stables is that the miracles of Christmas continues today. We can rejoice that Jesus is still our Emmanuel. He is still "God with us."
