Et: Katri ja Maarika armastasid jõuluturu melu.
En: Katri and Maarika loved the hustle and bustle of the Christmas market.

Et: Täna oli Tallinnas ilus päev.
En: Today was a beautiful day in Tallinn.

Et: Lumekristallid langesid rahulikult maale.
En: Snowflakes were gently falling to the ground.

Et: Raekoja plats oli täis rõõmsaid inimesi.
En: The Town Hall Square was full of cheerful people.

Et: Katri ja Maarika nautisid kuuma kakaod ja piparkooke.
En: Katri and Maarika enjoyed hot cocoa and gingerbread cookies.

Et: Aga midagi oli teistmoodi.
En: But something was different.

Et: Katri vanaema kuldsõrmus oli kadunud.
En: Katri’s grandmother’s gold ring had gone missing.

En: Katri thanked the mother and the child.
