In Luke 5:1-11, Jesus displays His power and authority in a miraculous catch of fish. In the process, Peter and the other disciples are invited to follow Jesus and given a new purpose in life. Following Jesus wasn’t easy, safe, or comfortable, but it was worth it. We have the same invitation today. Will you follow after Jesus, whatever it costs?

After being driven out of Nazareth, Jesus made his way to the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, and Capernaum became his adopted hometown. He taught with authority, performed miracles, preached good news, and developed a team of followers that would turn the world upside down.

After a year of miracles & ministry, Jesus returned to His hometown with great anticipation. The warm welcome wore off quickly as He revealed His true identity.

Victory in the Desert

Jesus went through the river for us. He took the punishment, the wrath, and the sin when He gave His life on the cross. Have you given your life with true repentance? Jesus says to ALL people, come follow me.

We all need a Messiah, a perfect sacrifice, and we have that through Jesus' death and resurrection. We have a Savior! We have hope! Do you believe this? Are you sharing this hope?
