Identifying himself with and fully substituting himself for the guilty he walks, fully within the will of God through his unjust trial, all the way to death. But all of this was God's will and we also see God's will was to resurrect him. Jesus was satisfied with the work he had accomplished. Through his substitution for sinners, which is known as penal substitution, he has made many righteous. He is victorious. And to the victor goes the spoils.
