Today’s Scripture reflections for Monday of Holy Week:
First Reading (Daniel 13:1-9, 15-17, 19-30, 33-62): The innocent Susanna faces false accusation and death, but God raises up Daniel to reveal the truth and deliver justice.
Responsorial Psalm (Psalm 23:1-3a, 3b-4, 5, 6): Even when walking through the dark valley, the Lord is our Shepherd who leads and protects.
Gospel (John 8:12-20): Jesus declares, "I am the light of the world," offering hope and clarity amidst judgment, deception, and fear.
Through these readings, we are invited to trust God's presence even in moments of injustice, to stand courageously for truth when darkness surrounds us, and to become bearers of Christ's light as we journey closer to the Cross during Holy Week.
