Simmo (aka Ian Simpson) was born in mid 70s Scotland, growing up listening to Rock and Heavy Metal of the 80s. At the age of 16, he discovered dance music and bought his 1st set of belt drive turntables. Gradually over the years, he progressed to direct drive, then CD decks, and is now fully digital, using Traktor hardware and software. Over the years his sounds have mellowed and his sets usually sit around 118 bpm. You can expect to hear deep melodic sounds with strings and piano in most of his sets, including this one.
