In today’s first episode of Chronic Conversations, we’re getting to know Shamikka Marty, a Lupus warrior and advocate. She’ll share her journey from the early stages of her diagnosis to how she has successfully managed her daily life and is now in remission. Shamikka will also discuss the challenges of being a mother, and wife and navigating friendships while living with Lupus. She'll highlight the difficulties of being understood in society and the strength it takes to persevere.
