Edreen Cielos (@drencielos) is an amazing artist that I have met roughly 3 years ago at Montreal Comiccon (@mtlcomiccon). I've been visiting his twitch stream since quarantine and since MTLCC is canceled, I wanted to catch up with him on his transition to Twitch (or comeback rather), and how he adapted since quarantine. I also took the opportunity to ask him how he is doing, favourite conventions, and more.

The only convention that has been pushed back in 2020 that is still going to attempt to launch is Geek-It (@geekitcon) near Halloween, for 3 days, at the old port. Last year was their first convention in Montreal, and their sophomore year (this year) was a rocky start. I sat down with Tom, founder of Geek-It, to talk to him about his learnings, what is coming this year (Virtual Market, Scavenger Hunt, more panels, etc), how is Geek-It going to adapt to the social distancing, return to the venue with more space, and more.

In my previous life, I would roam the nightlife. One of my favourite DJs would be DJ J-Fro (@1djffro). Covid-19 halted the nightlife and a lot of people jumped on  Twitch streaming. I encouraged J-Fro to jump also but he was buying his time to get it right. Now he has a steady stream 3 times a week, but at first, it was a bit of a struggle. J-Fro will go over his history as a DJ. We talk about how a lot of the classic songs are still amazing to this day. We talk about his transition to Twitch stream. We also have several stories and recount of certain nights where musically it was just jamming.

Way back then - DC vs Marvel was a thing in the comics. 5 issues DC best vs Marvel Best. A decade or so later, who would win and who would be on your roster? I started the subject of Batman vs Superman (batman obviously) but then quickly turn into Batman vs Captain America...then soon after Jason W (@dattriniboy), from Thoughts and Confessions and Multiverse, started to pick rosters from the current era and we went to WAR! If you like these "what if" scenarios - this is an interesting listen.
