It’s been two days since that below-the-belt ad. People have been asking and tagging us on it and waiting for us to react. We recorded our reaction the same day it was launched, but as everything progressed, there were a lot of updates about it here and there which you’ll be able to hear in our episode.

What you will hear are our raw emotions just after watching the ad, our feedback, analysis, and plain old discussion on how we can all do better next time. You'll also be able to hear real-time updates in this recording as mentioned earlier.

We need to talk about this as we represent a small part of the plus-size community. We were also directly affected by the ad as we are all women suffering from PCOS in the Chubby Cheeka team. So yes, we took it personally but that's because it was personal to us. This hit us right in the core, made us question our worth, and triggered our body dysmorphia.

This episode is not about canceling anyone, we are not into cancel culture. Never have and never will be. But we are advocates of body positivity and self-love, and nothing about what we saw was positive. If anything, it was filled with hate towards the female body and the NORMAL changes we go through as women. We hope you listen to our episode and start a discussion on this. We all need to speak up and try to do better, not just for ourselves but for everyone.

And yes, we do exercise mga chanaks. At least a few times a week kahit may work magsisingit kami ng squats or small workouts here and there. Just 'cause we're big and fabulous doesn't mean we don't TRY to be healthy and active. With that, we've gathered some helpful exercises and tips that beginners, chubbabes, and chubbros alike can do! So get your booty bouncing and those thicc but lovely thighs moving this weekend! These workouts work for us so they might work for your too! (Ang daming work non ah lol) So lezzgooo and get our sweat on!

It's crazy how one person's story feels just like your own. We were supposed to make a part 2 of our big struggles of dating episode but when a lot of our friends tagged and sent us Luke's story on Humans Of New York (HONY), we just felt inspired to share with you our own. In the HONY post he talked about how he always had this "Funny Fat Friend" persona around people just so they won't make fun of his size. He said, "No asshole you can't make fun of me. Because I beat you to it." For him, humor became a protection, a shield from the teasing, the judgment—the fat shaming whether intentional or not. Reading his story brought us to tears. It felt like he was sharing our story to the world too. So after much re-evaluating, we felt like it's about time to take a look at our own FUNNY FAT GIRL identities. Medjo serious tayo today mga chanaks, but we felt that maybe many of you might relate to our stories—the way we did with Luke.
