"Simplicity" - Indeed, we previously titled an episode "simple", but this week it comes up again. It's like God is wanting us to grasp that this journey can be easier than we've made it out to be :) Brittney and Kyle largely discuss an impactful movie they watched called FREE BURMA RANGERS. They were challenged in many areas, but especially in prayer - prayer should be our "standard operating procedure".  Obedience isn’t about getting it right the first time. It’s stepping out and trusting God to give you the next step... and the next... and the next...always trusting that God redeems our "mistakes".

"Empowered" - This week Kyle and Brittney look at the strength they have in resting. We don't have to muster up our faith for it to be strong - our faith is strong because of the One we trust in. As Brittney learned, "hope holds me and faith empowers me." And that's true for ALL of us!

"Disappointments" -  This week Brittney and Kyle both process how they handle disappointments.  They also look at the humanity of Jesus. We can trust Him because He felt and faced all that we do. He had to make choices like we have to make choices. He had to be empowered by Holy Spirit just like we have to be empowered.

"Mature" - This week Brittney and Kyle realize CORE really is "growing them up" in the things of Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Brittney gets real about about her desire and internal battle for the gift of prophecy; and she shares a revelation she had about pleasing AND satisfying God. Kyle identifies the growth he’s had in his relationship with Jesus and focuses on being okay with growth taking time - thank you Jesus for knowing our capacity! Back to the basics and keeping it simple - "We KNOW that we are God’s children..." (1 John 5:19)

"Remember" - Day 100 in CORE!! This week Brittney and Kyle recap establishing a new family tradition - celebrating a Pesach Seder! Pesach (Passover) is all about rememberance. God ordered Israel to celebrate and remember His deliverance of them from Egypt every year with this festival. As Christians, we are also called to remember! While Pesach traditionally follows God's deliverance of Israel from Egypt, at the same time, a parallel and prophetic story is woven in of Jesus to come and forever deliver us from sin. God knows our fickle nature and minds. He knows that we need to come back to remember what He's done again and again. Remembrance firms our faith and brings God the glory He is worthy to receive.
