This evening we discuss considering how we want to be remembered (perhaps by our favorite recipe?), and the deeper significance of fresh biscuits, plus magnificent and applicable lessons in leadership from Rabbi Aharon Lichtenstein and Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, Dr. Rakefet Ben-Yishai's insight into the tiny size of the stake that holds us down, and singing a song of praise in our Parsha, not in response to a momentous event, but in response to an epiphany, based on an insight of Rabbi Daniel Korobkin.
Michael Whitman is the senior rabbi of ADATH Congregation in Hampstead, Quebec, and an adjunct professor at McGill University Faculty of Law. ADATH is a modern orthodox synagogue community in suburban Montreal, providing Judaism for the next generation. We take great pleasure in welcoming everyone with a warm smile, while sharing inspiration through prayer, study, and friendship.
