Today, June 24, 2021, is our church's 48th anniversary. Listen as Brother Blair reads from his journal from that time. This reading is taken from a meeting in 2012. On June 24, 1973, in a tiny chapel amid East 14th Street's Manhattan slums, Brother Blair unrolled a narrow blue carpet and set up metal folding chairs for the first meeting. None could anticipate the great work, abundant life, and bright witness that those simple beginnings launched in those dismal surroundings.
