Mary Danielsen chats with JB Hixson about the merchandizing of all things evangelical, and how the consumer mentality has radically altered the sights and sounds of how we “do church”.  From the seeker paradigm to use of media in all its forms, the church has been transformed radically in the last 35 years. Are Christians turning a blind eye to what amounts as “influencers” in the pulpit? We also discuss false gospels and the apostasy that goes along with such a carnal mindset. Another topic of the day is a tyrannical agenda spreading around the globe and how the elitist deadlines to rule us all are looming ever larger. Why does 2025 figure prominently in their agenda?  While it’s all on God’s time, nevertheless we know they have been emboldened since 2020 – and who knows what events might trigger the next phase of control. How late is it? Very.

Mary welcomes back Chris Quintana live in studio to talk about a particularly troubling pulpit “curriculum” that teaches that the answer to spiritual maturity issues in the churches is “emotionally healthy spirituality”. Who is the author of this program, and what are his beliefs? Is it something churches can benefit from or should they run for their “spiritual” lives? We address recent concerns on it. Also, we talk to Chris about the antisemitism on campuses that shows no sign of letting up, and how authorities seem to be clueless on how to stem the tide of hate. There is no other group or culture that the tolerant left would allow to be shown such rancour – except Christians, of course. Are these evil mobs really terrorists at heart? Also, in Ezekiel we look at the “peace and safety” clause of the timing of the Gog and Magog war. Holly Pivec joins us for a repeat broadcast from 1/19/24 for an in-depth look at the New Apostolic Reformation, particularly as represented by the likes of Bill Johnson at Bethel. Who is this man and what is this “reformation” they speak of? Even the first part of the name, “New Apostolic” should set off alarms, but a reformtion? Is it a cult? We will talk about the who, what, how and why of it. We also take a look at what we might call the “gateway drug” of Bethel and Hillsong: the music arm of these churches, which has spread the doctrine of NAR far and wide to untold numbers of churches around the world. The teachings of NAR aren’t particularly new, considering the Latter Rain Movement of the 1940s and the Kansas City Prophets of the 1980s, but as with anything that the church refuses to be discerning about, it never goes away and just spreads, particularly in the computer/internet age. What is their history? Their view of Jesus? Evangelicals have long been confused by their doctrine; would they fail the test for a cult? What happened after cult expert Walter Martin tried to work with them to gain an evangelical footing? We will try and clarify what they believe and why it matters. They have a strong media presence and put on flashy prophecy conferences, but fail to identify themselves to those watching or attending. In the second half, we will discuss “in-house” apologetics – using solid doctrinal stances to help people navigate where their church is at – and unfortunately, often where it is going if the local church veers away from teaching doctrine to teaching the latest best-seller.

Mary Danielsen chats with Carl Kerby about the American Church, in particular when it comes to worldviews. Every human has one, and they largely revolve around such weighty issues as, what is reality? What is a person? What happens when we die? What is the nature of right and wrong? Philosophers have undertaken the answers to those questions for centuries, and its safe to say everyone has grappled with these at some point. But in the church, the notion of “worldview” becomes much more narrow – and looking into the worldview of those who shepherd God’s flock can be, in this age, a bit disappointing. What are the factors that determine a Christian worldview and whether those who lead God’s people get it right, ie, live by every word? [Original airdate 1/27/23] Pastor Paul Blair, Senior Pastor of Fairview Baptist Church in Edmond, Oklahoma, author, and founder of Liberty Pastors. He speaks nationwide about God in Government, apologetics, prophecy, and Biblical Worldview issues. Paul serves on the Board of Directors for Bott Radio, and the Oklahoma Apologetics Alliance.

Paul Blair was drafted by the Chicago Bears in 1986 playing under Coach Mike Ditka and alongside Hall of Famers Walter Payton, Dan Hampton, and Mike Singletary. At the age of 37, Paul Blair was called into full-time ministry. His passion is for the salvation of souls and also the restoration of Godly morality and decency in America. 

In 2008, Pastor Blair was one of the original 33 pastors that worked with the Alliance Defense Fund on Pulpit Freedom Sunday challenging the constitutionality of the 1954 Johnson Amendment. The number of pastors participating has increased every year since with over 1600 participating in 2012. Following the 2012 Pulpit Freedom Sunday, the IRS admitted that churches are tax exempt and do not require approval or a letter of exemption from the IRS.
